SPRINGTIME AT BONY MOUNTAIN

All this beautiful rain-after years of drought-has transformed our place. It is like someone has waved a magic wand? wow! Hope all your gardens & properties are green & all covered in grass- our little trees are powering- and planting more currently!  Always get enthusiastic after good season - replacing lost trees- planting more from cuttings -I'm always planting something! Even the old Peppercorn tree is beautiful with its pendulas habit!  and it is a good medicinal tree for arthritis- horses will chew the peppercorns!

  • FAVOURITE FLOWERING GUM

Only have two of these trees-none are flowering yet! but so many of our Yellow Box are flowering-the bees are busy!

  • MULCHING FOR SUMMER

So much mulching to do- with summer looming! I have had so much success with Mulching-over the years have used Cardboard- Carpet/Newspapers/Old clothing/ currently have huge big bales of old sugarcane mulch! perfect.

  • MULCHING STRAW

Got round bales back here-but currently have big sqaure bales- they get so wet with the rain- it is perfect mulch- all nice & moist!
